As we look forward to a new year, we would like to share with you a summary of 2022 in terms of the EU and international funded projects and activities at our university in the attached Annual Round-Up Newsletter.

In 2022, Yaşar University European Union Research Centre received the prestigious Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence award from the European Commission and has started its project activities as of December.

Throughout the year, 33 European projects were carried out at Yaşar University. Around 50 activities were organized (face to-face and virtually) by the researchers of our university in the scope of these projects. With the support of our centre, 34 new project proposals were prepared and submitted by our researchers. So far, a part of these submission results was announced, and funding authorities accepted 15 new projects, and 13 of these projects already started in 2022. Through newly approved projects, European and international partnerships of the institution increased. New and proceeding projects contributed to institutional research and internationalization policies.
