Description

Objectives

Digital youth work has ample versatility. It provides many opportunities but brings challenges at the same time, which are represented mainly by the spread of misinformation and harmful content. The DiGi YOUTH 2’s primary purpose is to provide the digital youth work domain with new innovative, open, and creative tools and methods for its development, promotion, and success.

Implementation:

The main activities of DiGi YOUTH 2 Project will be the development of innovative and appealing materials for youth workers and organisations. The Project will use and amplify the experience and successful results of the DiGI YOUTH Project, its predecessor Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Youth project. Info-days (DiGi Days) will be organised in the countries where partners are based to raise awareness about the project and the versatility of digital youth work. Two trainings will provide youth workers with more insights into the topic and new competences. DiGi Competition will involve a wider public and allow it to contribute to a database of good practices.

Results:

The expected results of the DiGi YOUTH 2 implementation are DiGi YOUTH Papers (recommendations, methodologies), DiGi YOUTH Virtual classroom with various media materials and space for virtual events; DiGi YOUTH Simulation game and Scenarios builder; and DiGi YOUTH i-videos. The participants of the trainings will gain new competences that will help them to embrace digital youth work and be ready for challenges in the online environment.
