The Joint Staff Training of the EDUCLAB Project Completed

The Short Term Joint Staff Training of the EDUCLAB project was organized on the 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, and 22nd of January 2021. A total of 18 participants from 6 partner organizations from 5 European countries joined the training, which was aimed to develop participants’ skills on how to plan, organize and implement cultural and artistic workshops in the classroom.

The training programme have covered EDUCLAB Training Handbook modules, namely “Narratives and Oral Histories”, “Archaeology”, “Tradition and Crafts”, “Nature” and “Art and Science”. Yaşar University was represented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet KAHYAOĞLU, Dr. Lecturer Emre YILDIZ, and part-time lecturer Tansel ÜNAL from the Faculty of Art and Design.

The EDUCLAB project is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnership in the field of school education, and the main objective is to increase the awareness of children aged 3-5 about the importance of cultural heritage as a common good, independent from any ethnic or religious considerations.
