Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Project: Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs Fifth Study Visit

Within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Project entitled “Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs”, fifth study visit between partner organizations took place in Izmir, Turkey on 7-8 December 2017. The meeting was organized by Yaşar University European Union Research Center, Turkey and involved project partners: Community Volunteers Foundation (Turkey) and EURO-NET (Italy).

Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs project aims to mainstream the gender point of view in EU Mobility Programs and by doing this to increase the visibility of gender issues in youth organizations. During the four day program, the consortium visited Izmir Bar Association,  Union of Women Associations in Izmir, Turkish Women Union, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Women Studies, Bornova Municipality Türkan Saylan Women’s Shelter, Ege University Research and Application Center of Woman Studies and Izmir Woman Solidarity Association and learned about their activities, areas of work and main projects.
