Jean Monnet Module: “Migration-Security Nexus in the EU”
We are happy to announce that the course project developed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Gökay OZERIM titled “Migration-Security Nexus in the EU” has been awarded as Jean Monnet Module by the European Commission.
Among 737 applications, only 147 projects were selected for funding this year in Europe and only 5 projects from Turkey were selected under Jean Monnet actions.

Main Activities:
- An interdisciplinary – elective course on Migration & Security, open for the registration of the interested students from all departments at Yasar University (2017-2018-2019 Spring Semesters)
- 2 Summer Courses on Migration & Security, open for students, professionals, public body and NGO representatives (2017 & 2018 summer periods).
- 1 online course on migration (2019 summer period).
- Seminar and webinar activities on migration (between 2016-2019).
