Description | The project SAND is a seminar lasting 6 days, which is held in Pesaro (IT) from the 13th to 18th of April 2015. The seminar involves 21 organizations from 15 European countries and is organized by Rete Italiana Volontariato Europeo (RIVE). The project stems from the need to improve the quality of the preparation and monitoring of the volunteers, with a special emphasis on the skills and their validation process in order to promote the transition from volunteer work to the labour market.
The participants will be youth worker with a key role in the European Voluntary Service, which, thanks to the exchange of good practices and the analysis of case studies, will outline the guidelines for improving the quality of EVS and facilitate access to job, especially for young people with fewer opportunities. The seminar aims at the creation of common tools and strengthening of networks to promote social inclusion and employability of young people. Main contents of the project are: – sharing EVS good practices and challenges – strategies for real inclusion – preparation standard measures – tools to strengthen recognition – relationship between EVS and unemployment (case studies and statistics) – future cooperation towards strategic partnership building |
