Description
The main objective of the project is to create a course titled “Sustainable Agri-Food Production and Supply Chain Management” to make participants aware of the sustainability concept in agri-food production and supply chain management and to develop a new course material that will be publicly available by practicing it at and outside of Yasar University. The second aim is to create a researcher network between Europe and Turkey concerning the public, students, and professionals to introduce and to investigate the European agri-food industry and EU food policies comprehensively.
Therefore, the academic gap would be filled by designing the first-course curriculum and by disseminating the outputs via online education facilities of Yasar University to open the course material to people who do not have a chance to attend the courses. As an alternative to the course module, a summer school will be provided to participants who have not been exposed to the EU-related themes before.
