The Jean Monnet Panel entitled “Media and Migration” was organized at Yaşar University on April 26th, 2018.

The event was organized as part of the Jean Monnet Modules entitled “Migration-Security Nexus in the EU” and “Integrate Turkey and Turkish Media to European Public Sphere”.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gökay ÖZERİM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huriye TOKER, and Hürriyet Newspaper Correspondent/Editor Banu ŞEN spoke in the panel.

In addition to academics and students of Yaşar University, researchers and students from other universities and representatives of public organizations participated in the event.

“Integrate Turkey and Turkish Media to European Public Sphere” is a Jean Monnet Module project funded by the European Commission and coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huriye TOKER, academician of Yaşar University Department of New Media and Journalism.
