Local Training Sessions of the EDUCLAB project

The Local Training Sessions of the EDUCLAB project were held between the 3rd and 13th of March 2021. The local training sessions aimed to test the “EDUCLAB Training Handbook”, one of the project’s main outputs. The EDUCLAB Training Handbook is prepared to provide Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) teachers with the competencies to implement cultural workshops in their classrooms and equip them with skills in the digital area and inclusive approaches.

Pre-primary school teachers from different schools have participated in the online training sessions that have covered EDUCLAB Training Handbook modules, namely “Narratives and Oral Histories, Archaeology, Tradition and Crafts, Nature, Art and Science, and Video Editing.”

Yaşar University is one of the partners of the EDUCLAB project which is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnership in the field of school education, and the main objective is to increase the awareness of children aged 3-5 about the importance of cultural heritage as a common good, independent from any ethnic or religious considerations.
