International Network Meeting of Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership project “Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs” was organized at Yasar University between 26-30 June 2018 with the participation of 27 young people from project partner countries.

Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs project aims to mainstream the gender point of view in EU Mobility Programs and by doing this to increase the visibility of gender issues in youth organizations. Partnership includes Community Volunteers Foundation (Turkey), Yaşar University (Turkey), Rede de Jovens para a Igualdade (Portugal), EURONET (Italy) andUnited Societies of Balkans (Greece).

During the meeting, the participants explored gender concepts, gender based discrimination and current challenges based on gender. The meeting provided opportunities for young people to form networks with the aim of supporting young women and LGBTI+ in cases of discrimination during their participation in EU mobility programs. The meeting was facilitated by youth workers from Community Volunteers Foundation and Yaşar University.
