The seminar of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module Project entitled “ EU TALK: Integrate Turkey and Turkish Media to European Public Sphere” was organized at Ege University on 6 March 2019. During the seminar, Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huriye TOKER (Department of Public Relations and Advertising, Yaşar University) presented EU history and actual developments. These subjects are ‘EU History and Integration Process’, ‘Brexit Process and EU’, ‘Turkey and EU Relations’ and also ‘Euroscepticism and EU Future’. 

This three years Jean Monnet Module Project aims to create and adapt introduction course titled “EU TALK: Integrate Turkey and Turkish Media to European Public Sphere ” and develop a new course material in communication field which is publicly available by practicing it at Yaşar University. The second aim is to contribute and adapt to almost non-existing literature on the Turkish research literature and create a researcher network concerning the European public sphere and Europeanisation of Turkish media in the communication field.
