EDUCLAB Project First Transnational Partners Meeting

The first transnational partners meeting of Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Project entitled “EDUCLAB – Education and Digital Cultural LABoratory” was organized on November  8th and 9th, 2018 in Lousada, Portugal with the participation of representatives from Yaşar University (Turkey), Co&So (Italy), Più Communication (Italy), Município de Lousada (Portugal),  DGASPCH  Harghita (Romania) and European University Cyprus (Southern Cyprus).  During the kick-off meeting, partners had a chance to get to know each other and the project in detail. Furthermore, partners discussed the upcoming project activities and timeline and agreed on the tasks and deadlines.

The EDUCLAB project is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme,  KA2 – Strategic Partnership in the field of school education and the main objective is to increase the awareness of children aged 3-5 with regard to the importance of cultural heritage as a common good, independent from any ethnic or religious considerations. The pupils of today are the grown-up population of Europe tomorrow, and we want this population to value cultural diversity as an opportunity for dialogue, to perceive cultural heritage as a common patrimony which requires protection, and as a vehicle to reconcile and prevent conflict rather than cause it.
