We are happy to inform you that our Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Strategic Partnership Project in Higher Education, entitled “istart: A Lean-Training, Innovative, Multidisciplinary Digital Entrepreneurship Platform” has been approved by the Turkish National Agency.

Within higher education sub-branch, 46 projects have been evaluated and only 12 projects were selected for funding by Turkish National Agency. “İStart” Project is the fourth approved Strategic Partnership Project of Yaşar University since the initiation of the programme in 2014.The total budget of the project is 239.640 €.

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative, evidence-based transnational framework that will markedly improve the knowledge and skills of academic institutions to produce more marked/startup oriented DEP curricula, reducing the barriers in this field. The project consortium comprises key academics, investors, incubators from different sectors who will co-create the envisaged DEP curriculum and will pilot it through an open innovation and co-creation virtual learning environment (VLE). Project partnership involves the following institutions: Incubation For Growth Ae (Greece), Kentro Erevnon Notioanatolikis Evropis Astiki Mi Kerdoskopiki Etaireia (Greece), Instituto Pedro Nunes, Associacao Para A Inovacao E Desenvolvimento Em Ciencia E Tecnologia (Portugal), Comonext Scpa (Italy), European Business Angel Network (Belgium).

The project will be coordinated by Prof.Dr.Levent KANDİLLER, Lecturer Dr. Efthimia STAİOU, Assist. Prof. Dr. Yasin OZARSLAN and Dr. Emrah TOMUR.
