Anna Lindh Foundation Project Approved

We  are happy to inform you that a new project of Yaşar University Department of Radio, Television and Cinema has been approved by Anna Lindh Foundation. The title of the project is “Home – New Home”.

The aim of the project is the production of 10 short documentary films made up by youth in 3 countries: Greece, Turkey, Palestine, with the theme “Home-New Home”. The stories of the films will be on the life and the adventure of the refugees who left their country – Syria or Gaza – and they are searching for a safe place in Turkey, Greece, and the Central Europe and in Palestinian territories. The project will be implemented by training and production workshops organised by the NGOs and Institutions/Partners of the project, in their countries.

The project will be implemented by Prof. Dr. Nazlı Bayram, Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağrı İnceoğlu, Assist. Prof. Dr. Roberto Cavallini  and Lecturer Carla Tommasini from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.

Prof. Dr. Bayram and her team applied for this project as a partner under the coordinatorship of the Storydoc from Greece.
